Coach Mentoring

Coaching can be a wonderfully quiet profession. Our mentoring gives professional coaches a regular place to reflect, sharpen your skills, and stay connected to why you started coaching in the first place. Both of us are PCC credentialed, hold Mentor Coach Specialization credentials, and have walked the accreditation road ourselves. We host 1-1 and group Coach Mentoring sessions.

Background

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) has raised the bar for coach development, with standardized competencies and a rigorous mentoring framework, ensuring coaches can perform at their best.

Leadership Coaching International Limited (LCI) has been at the forefront of this mission since day one. In 2002, we proudly achieved accreditation for the first ICF-recognized leadership coaching training programme, complete with mentor coaching for every student.

Today, we work with select groups of coaches who share a deep commitment to leadership development and their own continuous professional growth, in group and 1-1 sessions, or a mix.

The LCI Mentor Coaching Programme

Whether you're just starting your credentialing journey, want to renew or step up a level, our programme meets you where you are.

Group Mentor Coaching

Join our monthly one-hour group sessions (every month except August and December). You can book individual sessions as you go, or register for the full seven-hour programme.

1-1 Mentor Coaching

Get focused, personalised feedback on a 30–45 minute coaching session, evaluated directly against ICF standards.
Simply provide your session recording and an accurate, timed transcript (with an English translation if you coach in another language) at least two weeks before your session, and we'll schedule your 1-1 at a time that works for you.
A minimum of three 1-1 sessions is required for an ACC application — book them individually, or as part of our complete package.

Your Mentor Coach, Your Choice

All of your 1-1 sessions can be with Bob or Helen — or a mix. Sometimes a fresh perspective is exactly what accelerates your development. The choice is entirely yours.
MCC candidates please note: your mentor coach must hold a valid MCC credential. We can make personal recommendations from our extensive network, or you can use the ICF 'find a coach' directory.

Our Qualifications

We hold internationally recognised credentials with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the world's largest coaching accreditation body. Both of us are ICF members and Professional Certified Coaches (PCC), a credential that requires hundreds of hours of coaching experience, rigorous training and assessment. We are also ICF Mentor Coach Specialists at both ACC and PCC level, which means we are qualified to mentor other coaches towards and through their own credentials. Additionally, Bob Hughes holds the ICF's Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.
